Jewel Lake
Wilderness "A Diamond in the Buff"
Situated on 640 secluded acres, miles from the city, Jewel Lake Wilderness provides the perfect escape for those looking for a peaceful, relaxing clothing-free holiday in a simple, rustic environment. Wake up to the sounds of loons as they echo across the lake. Enjoy the sites of nature. Take in the sunlight. Make new friends and meet old ones. Jewel Lake Wilderness, as nature intended. Jewel Lake Wilderness is located between North Bay and Sturgeon Falls, 6 kilometres north of Highway #17 West on Riding Stable Road. The wilderness setting is crowned with red and white pines towering into the sky. The 100-acre lake has a small natural sand beach and a gently sloping shoreline at the sunning-swimming gathering place. Many times, moose, deer, rabbits and partridges are seen at the forest edge. Experience the freedom to be in as natural a setting as only a wilderness can give! Jewel Lake Wilderness and its owners John and Betty are proud members of the Federation of Canadian Naturists (FCN). Jewel
